Retro Fun & Funky Vibes in Our Classroom

This year I decided to go with a Retro Fun and Funky classroom theme. I wanted something colorful, cheerful, and a little different, but still easy to use throughout the room.

Choosing a classroom theme is always one of my favorite parts of getting ready for a new school year. I like to think about the colors I want to use, how I want the room to feel, and what will work well with the things I already have.

I also try to keep the decor useful. I want the room to feel welcoming and fun, but I still need it to work for everyday classroom routines and organization.

Once I picked the Retro Fun and Funky theme, I started pulling together colors, signs, labels, and a few DIY pieces to help everything feel coordinated. I love finding ways to make things myself when I can because it helps keep costs down and lets me make the room feel more like my own.

I’m excited to see everything come together and add a little more color and personality to the classroom this year.
